"There is no such thing as an 'Orthodox Baha'i'" wrote one confused Bahá'í to one of my fellow believers. That comment really amused me since it speaks so clearly about the mind-set of the sans-Guardian Bahá'ís who are in denial about the truth. No longer believing their own teachings, the sans-Guardian Bahá'ís actually believe that unity comes by the subservience of all individuals to the beliefs, false or not, of the majority. If someone dares to question the majority view, they are cast out from the Faith and their very existence is denied. This view is ridiculous but widely held.
We are "Orthodox" because we hold to the original teachings of our Faith. That is, that unity is achieved in obedience to the Guardian, and not to the views of the majority vote. Yes, there is such a thing as an Orthodox Bahá'í, and there is no manner of shunning, coercion, denial or court proceeding that will change that fact.

GUARDIANSHIP
Is not the Guardian keeper or guardian of the ‘Supreme Standard’, ‘Supervisor of Quality Control’?
Why was the Guardian so titled if not to safeguard the integrity of the ‘Supreme Standard’?
Why was the Guardian so titled if not to guard the ‘Master Standard’ from the deviations, adulterations and abuses of common usage?
The Guardian guards the ‘Master Gage Block’ or the ‘Master Standard’ to which all other standards are kept in calibration. Elimination of the Guardianship means the product ‘Faith’ is no longer protected against the deviance of un-calibrated leadership. Without the ‘Guardianship’ what’s differs our ‘Standard’ from other standards wherein the criterions of morality are lost in the forest of human passions?
The tragedy of excessiveness is most evident with the realization of unattainable balance.
It is not until one faces disaster that the extent of excessiveness becomes apparent.
It is when one is waving their arms ‘warring’ for control that the realization of excessiveness is most obvious.
There is no morality save in an unadulterated ‘Supreme Standard’.
There is no health save in tolerance of the ‘Supreme Standard’.
There is no security save in morality and there is no morality save in protecting (Guardianship) of the ‘Supreme Standard’.
Would it be fair for God to condemn the construction before having given the ‘blueprint’? The advent of the Kingdom or kind of government promised by Jesus Christ.' Armageddon is not a judgment but the result of common divergence from the ‘Supreme Standard’.
